Coaching is a partnership. A collaborative, creative relationship created between an individual and their coach, through which the individual builds an awareness which empowers choice and unleashes potential.

Coaching helps you to learn but does not teach you. It works on the basis that you are the expert on yourself. You are all talented and competent, and nobody you us better than you do. A coach will support and act as a mirror that allows you to see things from a different perspective, challenge your beliefs, help you think more creatively and build confidence. This can have dramatic and invigorating effects, which contributes to your own personal development as well as the success of the organisation in which you work.

Coaching helps us understand who we are when we’re at our best, and how to access the most powerful version of ourselves. It helps us develop muscles that don’t normally use, giving us the confidence to make intentional choices about our life and career.

Is Coaching right for you?

There are lots of reasons why you might choose to work with a coach. Here are some examples:

  • Wanting to reconnect with your inner self, confidence and strengths

  • Needing to deal with your inner gremlins and limiting beliefs so that you can move forward

  • Knowing what you want but struggling to find the courage to ‘go get it’

  • Needing support to work things out, or perhaps challenge you, as you make a major decision

  • Seeking a champion to inspire you to go beyond what you could have dreamed was possible

  • Working out how to balance your hectic day-to-day with the bigger picture of your life

  • Wanting a sounding board to help you think things through and process your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental place

  • Or perhaps you’d prefer a mirror to reflect what you are saying and doing so that you can see it from the outside

  • Seeking clarity on what you really want

  • Looking to take action to fulfil your dreams

  • Needing to stay on track by being held accountable for the actions you decide to take
